Math Activities

We develop mathematics activities for group work that encourage interaction, investigation, and creativity among students.
The activities reflect a teaching approach in which:

All individuals are capable of learning and doing mathematics.

All individuals are capable of learning and doing mathematics.
Students make sense of the mathematics they learn when they reinvent ideas and concepts for themselves. The activities are designed to allow students to develop conjectures, test hypotheses, and create their own explanations while solving problems.

Mathematics is an open and creative discipline.

Doing mathematics involves flexibility, communication, and collaboration. The activities are designed to allow students to explore different problem-solving strategies and various forms of mathematical representation.

The greater the participation, the greater the learning.

Students learn more deeply when they discuss ideas with their peers. The activities are designed to be solved in small groups, promoting interaction, argumentation, and collaboration.
